From photographs of glaciers to everyday items

The Federal Institute of Technology Zurich has a remarkable picture archive. It contains around three million analogue images, and around 350,000 digital photos of all kinds of subjects are available online. They can be downloaded at no cost in most cases. It is well worth having a browse. LEH
